Today (24 Nov 2014), Mr. Witthayakorn Maneenet, Director-General of the Department of Internal Trade, revealed that after the price of fresh chili peppers began to enter the market more, it resulted in the price of chili peppers that farmers brought out to sell being low, which caused a lot of suffering. Recently, the Department of Internal Trade urgently went to help chili farmers in Phop Phra District, Tak Province, after the produce entered the market in large quantities.
